Florence

Florence is sort of magical.  Unfortunately I have never got much time there.  I passed through one night and this time for one day, so recommendations will be slim.

Accommodation: Relais La Corte di Cloris – highly recommend!  Comfortable spacious rooms and a beautiful garden attached.

Tips: Buy “David” tickets ahead of time.  You will skip the line and nothing is better than that!  Get to the Duomo when it opens preferably.  There will be a line of course but it will move quickly and you can breeze through.  No ticket needed.  Climb the attached tower.  This costs, but it worth it!
